The organic vegetable garden at Villa Il Poggiale is ready to go!
Our chef created new recipes with the new seasonal produce for your lunch and dinner which will be more healthy, more fresh, more tasty. Artichokes and garden peas flavored with fresh herbs, delicate pastel green zucchini with their flowers, flaming tomatoes, lustrous aubergines, multicolored pumpkins, cabbage and broccoli of any kind and shape will enhance the flavor of any meal. Fresh vegetables will be the main ingredient for delicate or robust soups, ravioli filling, pasta sauce as well as colorful crunchy salads and scrumptious side dishes. We have also decided to select organic cheese, dairy and meat suppliers, so that we can offer our guests something special as in the tradition of Villa Il Poggiale.
Prepare for a feast as you awake in a Tuscan Hotel and anticipate a day in the countryside. Our Tuscan breakfast buffet boasts fresh ricotta cheese, preserves, honey and prosciutto from neighbouring organic farms. The chef consults old family recipes to present guests with homemade apple cinnamon and chocolate cake, fruit tart, brioche and quiches are all homemade.
Our chef personally takes pride in preparing delicacies on offer in our Tuscan Restaurant every night. The uncomplicated buffet features traditional Tuscan fare and homemade specialities – and he is always happy to reveal the secrets of his cooking. A selection of prestigious Tuscan wines sit happily next to little known vintages from carefully selected boutique wineries.
