The Opera della Metropolitana di Siena and Opera Laboratori, together with the Archdiocese of Siena - Colle di Val d'Elsa - Montalcino, are pleased to offer the City the event "Enchantment of Peace. Noa, under the Stars of the Cathedral." The Israeli singer will be accompanied by her historic guitarist Gil Dor and the Solis String Quartet, a formation composed of Vincenzo Di Donna (violin), Luigi De Maio (violin), Gerardo Morrone (viola), Antonio Di Francia (cello, arrangements). A not-to-be-missed event in which Noa, an activist for the right of peoples to peace and universally known for having given her voice to the soundtrack of Roberto Benigni's film "Life is Beautiful," will celebrate the meeting of cultures in the name of spirituality and mutual understanding, influenced by the Israeli environment, in which she was born, made up of war, terrorism, pain, but also a desire for peace and hope. The evening will begin with a reflection by His Eminence Cardinal Augustus Paul Lojudice on the urgency of "breaking swords to make plowshares, spears to make sickles" (Isaiah 2:1-5). The event is free admission subject to availability.
