A journey to discover some of the most beautiful places in Tuscany. Certaldo, home of the medieval poet Boccaccio and a delightful, perfectly preserved medieval village, hides an extraordinary cultural itinerary, as well as excellent local restaurants. And then the ancient city of alabaster: Volterra. It stands like a star above a sea of hills, with its artistic treasures ranging from the Etruscans to contemporary art installations, through the Roman period, a fairytale Middle Ages and Renaissance masterpieces.
As usual, we will add some unknown gems to these two pearls: a visit to one of the oldest parish churches in the region, immersed in the silence of the tuscan countryside, and a walk on the "cursed" hill of Semifonte, where you will discover the bloody stories of wars and devastation immersed in the legendary Middle Ages.
